Petersburg – The Tri-City Association of Educational Office Professionals (TCAEOP) held their 54th Annual Scholarship Awards Presentation virtually on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 6:00 P.M.    Since the Association did not award scholarships last year, four $500 scholarships were given this year to assist the students with their college expenses.  The recipients are:

Muryenn Janelle Fields

Miss Muryenn Janelle Fields of Dinwiddie High School.   Muryenn graduated with a 4.18 grade point average and plans to attend New York University and double major in Musical Theatre and Literature.

Mr. Jaden Rashone Walker

Mr. Jaden Rashone Walker of Petersburg High School.  Jaden graduated with a 3.17 grade point average and plans to attend Eastern Mennonite College in Harrisonburg, VA and major in Marine Biology.

Miss Krystal Antoinette Peerman

Miss Krystal Antoinette Peerman of Matoaca High School.  Krystal graduated with a 4.46 grade point average and plans to attend Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA and major in Social Work.

Miss Jewell Dorisc Jones

Miss Jewell Dorisc Jones of Prince George High School.  Jewell graduated with a 3.96 grade point average and plans to attend Virginia Commonwealth University and major in Child Care.  The students’ parents were also able to be present to witness the presentation.

Our speaker for the evening was Mrs. Kimberly Dublin, a 1993 TCAEOP Scholarship Recipient. Mrs. Cassandra Reese is the Scholarship Chair.
